Dwarven Ale
ok i see they added this item in the new patch but what does it actually do
and on a side note: "Increased reward for quest "The Villainy of Galrath" from 500 XP to 4000 XP." now this mission is worth the time now |

Haven't tried it myself yet, but from what I understand, your screen goes fuzzy and you stumble around a bit.
Drunken HOBO's!!! p.s. Sorry, it's a guild law that I have to be enthusiastic about drunkeness. |

well what i was hoping for and i think this is somehting they should add to the game is a food or drink that gives you a temp buff to either energy or health..
EI: Elven Ale = +100 to health for 120 sec or something like that... EI: Drake Jerky = 65% chance for +1 Lightinging Magic for 120 sec i know this is not your traditional MMO but these are small additions that would increase the game play IMO |

Seriously here??? Guild Wars is catering to the kids that play guild wars??? What adult is going to spend GP to see the screen get fuzzy from drinking game ale???
Poor decision to add ale in my opinion??? Also if you look at it directly in perspective this is just promoting drinking period??? Is this not a rated everybody game? How many underage kids are getting virtually drunk? Is this appropriate behaviour for adults to promote altered states of mind? Why not an mystical herbal pipe or perhaps magic mushrooms of hallucinating? How this adds to game play in any way except to children I don???t know??? Why not ad something of value perhaps 1000 GP for 20 more storage slots or a access to your storage from the guild hall area??? Something that both adds to game play and makes sense??? Why not have the consumption of ale add to health??? |

ya that makes sense, you complaine that using ale to get "drunk" is a bad thing, then want the ale to add to health? Which one sends a better message.

This is a ROLE PLAYING game. I don't drink in real life and I don't promote it. I do, however, have a lot of fun with my guild who ROLE PLAY drunken HOBO's. If the children of today learned everything they knew from video games and TV rather than responsible parents... oh wait...

I just see it as a bit of fun Asmodeus, the screen hardly moves, they fixed heaps of bugs in this update why not let the developers add something just for fun. It probably took 5 mins to add but generated hours of discussion.

That sounds hilarous... I need to try that :P But they already had the ale, it was hunters ale. They just renamed it and added it to shops now.
